Back on specific track

On Saturday, July 15th, second round of Speedway Euro Championship will take place in Gustrow, on short, specific track.

Circuit in Gustrow is one of the most abnormal in Europe among the other, because that startline is only a few meters from last corner. Track is only 298 meters long, what makes it the shortest in the cycle. There is a lot of ways to fight in the field, what proved SEC and SPBC tournaments. The record holder is Piotr Protasiewicz with time 56,50.

On Saturday, for the fourth time in history, huge speedway will come to Gustrow. In 2014 and 2016 Speedway Euro Championhip had one of finals there. In 2015 the best riders fought in Speedway Best Pairs in that city. In oncoming SEC tournament will start 11 riders, who took part in listed competitions.

Artiom Laguta has the highest average. The Russian started in Gustrow in SBPC and made 2,5 points per heat. Close behind him are Krzysztof Kasprzak and Andreas Jonsson, who had average 2,2 points per heat. Swede started in Gustrow in 2014 and 2015. Pole started in last year's tournament only.

Other SEC participants averages:
Adrian Miedziński 1,80 (SEC 2014)
Przemysław Pawlicki 1,80 (SEC 2016)
Kai Huckenbeck 1,67 (SEC 2014, 2016; SBPC 2015)
Vaclav Milik 1,60 (SEC 2016)
Andzejs Lebedevs 1,50 (SEC 2014, 2016)
Leon Madsen 1,40 (SEC 2016)
Martin Smolinski 0,86 (SEC 2014; SBPC 2015)
Mikkel Bech 0,33 (SBPC 2015)

On saturday, Lukas Fienhage, who is EKO-DIR FIM Speedway U-21 World Championship participant, will be first reserve. He’ll replace his coutryman Erik Riss.
